Are you wondering how psychotherapy works, and who is the right therapist to work with? Do you find yourself repeating negative patterns? Are you feeling anxious or depressed? I believe that therapy is a collaborative process in which we together determine what you need. Over twenty five years of experience contribute to my ability to create a safe space which will encourage exploration into understanding your emotional concerns. Often after completing the therapeutic process, many come to discover that they have more choices in their lives and report feeling more creative and alive.
My areas of expertise include working with anxiety, depression,
relationship issues, eating disorders, trauma, loss, and parenting issues. I see adults, adolescents, children, and couples in my practice.
I am both a licensed clinical social worker and have a doctorate in psychoanalyis. I am a training and supervising psychoanalyst and offer supervision to psychotherapists.
I also have an interest in the use of literature and art in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
